1. About Bad Apple
Bad Apple is a private review platform allowing verified women to share personal experiences about individuals. By using Bad Apple, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use Bad Apple. The platform is open to women only. Identity verification is required before leaving reviews. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that misrepresent identity.
3. Anonymity and privacy
Your username is visible to other members. Your real name, email, and ID information are never shared publicly. We process identity data via Stripe Identity in accordance with Stripe's privacy policy and applicable data protection law including UK GDPR.
4. Review guidelines
All reviews must be:
- Based on your genuine personal experience
- Factual and not deliberately misleading
- Free from surnames, contact details, or identifying information
- Free from threats, harassment, or hate speech
- Not designed to damage someone's reputation without basis
5. Prohibited content
The following is strictly prohibited:
- False or fabricated reviews
- Personal identifying information (surnames, addresses, phone numbers)
- Sexual content
- Threats or incitement to violence
- Content targeting someone based on protected characteristics
6. Moderation
Bad Apple moderates content on a reports basis. We may remove content, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any review and are not liable for user-generated content.
7. Disputes
If you believe a review about you is inaccurate or defamatory, you may submit a dispute via our contact page. We will investigate within 14 working days. We may remove content if it is found to breach these guidelines.
8. Subscription and payments
Subscriptions are monthly and billed via Stripe. You may cancel at any time. No refunds are issued for partial months. Bad Apple reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
9. Limitation of liability
Bad Apple is a platform, not a publisher. We are not responsible for the accuracy of user reviews. Reviews represent personal opinions only. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from reliance on reviews published on the platform.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
